The version reassembled to fit the PG-13 rating, with 109 minutes, which premiered on March 25, 2011. Much of the violence and dancing was removed from the scene. It is the version that most of the public saw and the one that generated the most fights.

It arrived on Blu-ray on June 28, 2011 with an R rating and 18 minutes longer than the theatrical version, which gives 127 in total. The cut violence, excerpts from the action sequences and the dances that Snyder was forced to remove return. Please note: this extended cut is not the director's cut. On September 17, 2026, Snyder said that his version remains shelved due to licenses and that the project is still ongoing.
